About

I am a Cloud Software Engineer with a cybersecurity focus. My academic journey includes earning both a B.S. and an M.S. in Computer Science with a specialization in Machine Learning from the University of Chicago.

With over ten years of practical experience, I have developed a robust skill set in software development across diverse domains. From coding and debugging to architecture design and collaborative teamwork, I bring a wealth of expertise to every project. This experience also includes teaching computer skills in a formal setting, as well as leveraging my software engineering skills for non-profit initiatives.

My current interests are centered around Security, Systems Engineering, and Data Analytics. I am passionate about improving digital security and optimizing system performance by applying my formal computer science training and practical software engineering skills to tackle real-world cybersecurity challenges head-on.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors, exploring nature, and hiking. I also enjoy reading psychology and hard science fiction.
